Gracie’s Soaps is mainly focused on soaps made with natural, premium oils and different kinds of butter. It is oriented to sustainable, cruelty-free certified consumption of donkey milk.


One of the most common uses for donkey milk in Gracie’s Soaps is as an anti-ageing, moisturizing and antioxidant ingredient to protect your skin.


Some of the proteins in donkey milk also work as antioxidants. They help protect cells from oxidative damage, including that caused by sun exposure, thus providing anti-ageing benefits.

Recent scientific studies on donkey milk showed plenty of different benefits for the skin. These results are related to the effectiveness of donkey milk components like proteins, minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids, bioactive enzymes and coenzyme which allow the skin balanced nourishment and proper hydration. In particular, vitamin C content in donkey milk is almost 4 times more than cow's milk. Donkey milk contains more lactoferrin (protein helping decrease acne) than cow milk and considerable amounts of lysozyme (antibacterial).  Donkey Milk’s albumin also have the ability to absorb moisture and give it back to the skin


Researches on donkey milk have proven its efficiency; for this reason, Donkey milk has the potentiality, to reduce problem skin with dermatitis, skin irritation, eczema, acne, psoriasis and herpes and properties in calming the irritation symptoms as reported by some authors.

effect. Thanks to the high content of vitamins A, B1, B2,

B6, D, C and E, it prevents face and body skin ageing and

fights against free radicals. Rich in calcium, magnesium,

phosphorus, sodium, iron, zinc, proteins, trace elements,

Ω-3 and Ω-6, restructures, re-builds and protects the

skin reduces wrinkles and stretch marks and strengthens 

natural defences.

Proteins and amino acids have efficient nourishing and

invigorating action, stimulating the production of collagen,

elastin and keratin, useful to maintain the  elasticity and

the vitality of the tissues over time. The albumins form a

moisturizing shield in the upper layers of the epidermis and
